Quick Bits Post 2012 #3

QUOTE: "To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to leave the world a better place; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

HUMOR:
A little girl was sitting on her grandfather's lap as he read her a bedtime story.
From time to time, she would take her eyes off the book and reach up to touch his wrinkled cheek. She was alternately stroking her own cheek, then his again. Finally she spoke up, "Grandpa, did God make you?" "Yes, sweetheart," he answered , "God made me a long time ago." "Oh," she paused,  "Grandpa, did God make me too?" "Yes, indeed, honey," he said, "God made you just a little while ago." Feeling their respective faces again, she observed, "God's getting better at it, isn't he?"

VIDEO: The Legend of Bagger Vance ~ "Inside each and every one of us is one true, authentic swing. Something we was born with, somethin' that's ours and ours alone. Somethin' that can't be taught to you or learned. Somethin' that got to be remembered. Over time the world can rob us of that swing. It get buried inside us under all our wouldas and couldas and shouldas. Some folk even forget what they swing was like."
